The 2012 Sapphire Challenge

With the 2012 eSports calendar only just under way esportsheaven are brining you yet another online competition, this time sponsored by Sapphire. The tournament is due to kick off on the 23rd January and will feature a £500 prizepot running over a ten day period.

EsportsHeaven are pulling no punches during 2012, already announcing the first of what is sure to be many online competitions, this time seeing a £500 prize pot thanks to the guys over at Sapphire. The sign-ups have only been open for a few days and the massive one hundred and twenty eight capacity is reaching spilling point so you best act fast to secure your place in what is sure to be one of the biggest online competitions of the winter months.

The tournament is due to commence on Monday 23rd January, finally finishing ten days later on Wednesday 1st Febuary. We will see a single elimination format in use, starting with a best of one format, then from the quarter finals onwards progressing to best of three.
